This solution can help solve and repair Nokia 2710 No LCD Screen LED Backlight problem that results in a dark screen on the LCD screen.
If this problem can you first try to install a new replacement LCD screen that caused the LCD LEDs problem or not to insure. Back when the LED still does not work, you can then proceed with troubleshooting hardware and used the solution below.
The solution was found that the LCD screen and keypad backlighting LED driver circuit. this circuit possession and pursuit of the LEDs light up or work.
You can start with the positive ANSD LEDs negative line paths of the LCD-pin connector to identify the parts where it is connected.
Check the LED driver IC supply voltage, this voltage has a value rating of 3.7 volts which feeds the phones battery.
If all the paths and line voltages are both fine, you can then proceed to replace the LED driver IC.
Note: a damaged LED driver IC for Nokia 2710 will also lead to defective lighting keyboard. So if the keyboard backlight works, and only the backlight of the LCD screen does not work, does not mean that the LED driver chip is faulty or damaged. This gives the LED driver IC and still works fine.
